When I met Melissa I had just gotten engaged and knew I wanted to get toned and “tighten up” before the wedding. She constantly came up with new exercises and routines that 1) kept our sessions from becoming monotonous, and 2) ensured we targeted muscles I didn’t even know I had! I’ve always been a gym nut and in decent shape, but at age 40 I was diagnosed with cancer (Hodgkin’s lymphoma) and had to take over a year off for treatments and to recover. When I finally was able to start working out again, I was at least 35 pounds heavier from all the meds and from a year of inactivity, and I was in the absolute worst shape of my life. My fingers were so chunky I couldn’t even wear my wedding ring.

After several months of busting my butt in the gym, I was still struggling to lose 10 pounds. After meeting with Melissa; the changes she made to my diet were noticeable immediately - within one month (and no change in my workouts) I had lost 10 pounds, and the next month I lost another 10. The best thing about Melissa’s nutrition coaching was that it never felt like work and it never felt like I was dieting or depriving myself of anything I wanted.
